You deserve beautiful straight teeth. Dr. Tabibnia offers options for orthodontics!

It's best for children to be seen by the orthodontist by age seven to advise if orthodontic treatment is required and the best time for that patient to be treated. By this time the first permanent molars and incisors have come in and crossbites, crowding and other problems can be evaluated. When treatment is started early, the orthodontist can guide the growth of the jaw and guide incoming permanent teeth. Early treatment can also regulate the width of the upper and lower dental arches, gain space for permanent teeth, avoid the need for permanent tooth extractions, reduce likelihood of impacted permanent teeth, correct thumb-sucking, and eliminate abnormal swallowing or speech problems. Early treatment can simplify later treatment.

By applying steady pressure via small metal brackets braces work to realign teeth. The brackets are cemented to the teeth and connected by a wire, which is periodically tightened by Dr. Tabibnia to change the position of the teeth. Today’s braces have a wider range of color options for both the brackets and elastics, making them more visually appealing than before.
